No, it doesn’t remove physically remove scars —unfortunately, there’s no way to remove them completely other than surgery. Our camouflage tattoo treatment conceals scars by blending them with your natural skin tone, like a permanent “filter” that reduces the contrast, making them much less noticeable.
For most people, yes! Your scars need to be at least 6 months old and /or fully healed. We’ll help determine if this treatment is a good fit for you through a virtual consultation.
There may be some mild discomfort, generally rated around a 5 or 6 out of 10. We don’t numb the area to ensure the pigment settles well, but we do our best to make you as comfortable as possible.
Your tattooed area won’t change color if you tan. The ink will hold its original shade, while your surrounding skin will darken, so the contrast with stretch marks will be much less noticeable. You’ll still have a natural-looking blend overall.
Expect mild redness and swelling for the first 1-3 days, but most clients can return to regular activities the same day. We’ll give you aftercare instructions to help reduce any redness and make sure healing goes smoothly.
On average, 2 sessions are required with 60 days between sessions and results show 90 days after . Healing time can vary depending on factors like age, skin type, and overall health.
With good aftercare, results typically last between 5 to 10 years. Your skin type, age, and lifestyle can affect longevity, and touch-ups are recommended every few years if needed.
